Meeting the departmental cut-off mark is necessary but not enough. Post-UTME performance, available slots, and catchment areas will still count.
Some courses (especially Medicine, Law, Nursing, and Engineering) require very high scores due to the number of applicants.
ELDS (Educationally Less Developed States) candidates have slightly lower cut-offs in some cases.
Students, parents, and guardians have welcomed the announcement as a relief, ending weeks of speculation. For many, the release marks the final lap in the race to secure admission into UI.
The full list of all departmental cut-off marks is now available on the University of Ibadan portal.
