President Bola Tinubu and the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, are both expected back in Nigeria today (Tuesday), two days before Rivers State is scheduled to return to democratic governance on Thursday, Peak Newspaper reports.
Tinubu is arriving in Abuja after cutting short his vacation in France, while Fubara is returning from London.
Their return coincides with preparations by the Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.), who is rounding off his tenure with transition activities ahead of the formal handover that will end emergency rule in the state.
