President Bola Tinubu left Akwa Ibom on Saturday to attend an All Progressives Congress presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, according to reports. This follows a two-day visit to the state where he participated in several official and political activities, Peak Newspaper reports.
During his stay in Akwa Ibom, the president commissioned the Victor Attah International Airport. He praised Governor Umo Eno for completing the project and confirmed that he had approved a request for the facility to begin international flight operations.
Tinubu arrived in Uyo on Friday accompanied by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu. They were received by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and other government officials.
