The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress for the 2027 election, Omoyele Sowore, Yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Comrade Ojajuni Olusegun Popular known as Ojas at the family’s house in Ilutitun, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Peak Newspaper reports.
Ojas died in a hospital on August 14, 2026 after a brief illness.

The African Action Congress presidential candidate was received by the late Comrade Ojajuni’s wife and Family members, after which he expressed his deep sympathy for the loss.
“We do hope that you will take solace in the exemplary life led by Comrade Ojajuni and the legacy of selflessness and kindness that he left behind”‘, Sowore said.
He added that it is without any shred of doubt that he will forever be remembered as a hardworking and resourceful African Action Congress Chieftain who used every influence he had to better the lot of the people and his community, adding that Ilutitun in particular, and the state as a whole will sorely miss his impactful influence.
He prayed for the family that God almighty will give them the strength and fortitude to bear the great loss. He also promised stand by the family and help them throughout this moment of pain.
