Arise TV’s Morning Show reportedly cut short an interview with Lere Olayinka, media aide to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, on Friday, September 4, after he insisted that he would not answer questions from anchor Rufai Oseni, Peak Newspaper reports.
Olayinka reportedly said he wanted the discussion to be handled by “reasonable people” and objected to comments he attributed to Oseni.
The exchange became tense, prompting co-anchor Ayo Mairo-Ese to remind Olayinka that he had accepted an invitation to appear on the programme with all three presenters.
The interview was subsequently brought to an end, with Olayinka taken off the air.
