President Bola Tinubu has been asked to quickly tender his resignation following the Federal Government’s inability to end the worsening security crisis.

Peak Newspaper reports that terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements have been on a recent rampage, killing and abducting unsuspecting citizens.

There have been incidents of killings and mass abductions in Kebbi, Kwara, Zamfara, and other states.

The surge in insecurity has drawn condemnation from concerned Nigerians and even foreigners, with some calling for the president to resign to pave the way for a more competent leader.

In a post on X, human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong urged the president to resign and apologize to Nigerians.

“President Tinubu should tender his resignation and apologize to the country.

“As Commander-in-Chief, he is weak, clueless, and grossly incompetent. The killings and bloodbath can’t continue.

“Tinubu resign now,” the activist posted on X
