The Executive Chairman of the Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo state Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye has celebrated the children in the council area as Nigerians celebrate the Year 2025 Children’s Day, Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports.
The council boss, in his Children’s Day message on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, said, “It’s a pleasure to witness yet another Children’s Day celebration. This day is one of my favourite days of the year because it allows us to honour and cherish the young minds in our community.
“Our children are our future, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they have everything they need to thrive and succeed. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all of our young residents.
“I am proud of the incredible children in our community who continuously inspire us with their creativity, curiosity, and kindness. They are the heart and soul of our city, and we must do everything we can to protect and uplift them.
“Today, let us celebrate the joy and innocence of childhood. Let us listen to their laughter, their dreams, and their fears. Let us show them that they are loved, valued, and heard.
“I encourage each of you to take a moment today to reflect on the impact we can have on the lives of children. Let us commit to being positive role models, mentors, and advocates for our youth.
