Ex-Araromi Obu Ward Councillor, former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon Ogundayomi Davidson Omokehinde popularly known as DK has passed away on March 21st, 2026, Peak Newspaper reports.
A member of the family told Peak Newspaper on Sunday that Mr Ogundayomi died on Saturday evening at undisclosed Hospital
The source said on the condition of anonymity that “he died after a brief illness at the hospital and (his corpse) has been deposited at the mortuary.”
Peak Newspaper reports that sympathisers were seen trooping in and out of the late chairman’s country home at Araromi Obu in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The deceased was described as benevolent, humane, friendly and likeable, with scores of indigent students from his community under his leadership .
