The Super Eagles will train behind closed doors today in Rabat as preparations intensify for Wednesday’s AFCON 2025 semi-final against Morocco.
Head coach Eric Chelle approved the private session amid reports that Moroccan scouts were planning to observe Nigeria’s training to gather tactical details. As a result, access to the training ground has been restricted strictly to players and key team officials.
Team sources say the decision is aimed at protecting tactical plans and keeping full focus ahead of the high-stakes encounter. Nigeria is expected to fine-tune its shape, pressing patterns, and set-piece routines away from public view.
The Super Eagles are chasing a place in the final and are determined to avoid distractions as confidence grows within the camp.
Wednesday’s clash against hosts Morocco is widely seen as one of the defining matches of the tournament.
