President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave, the Presidency has announced, Peak Newspaper reports.
According to a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the President’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom.
The Presidency described the trip as a working vacation, with Tinubu expected to return to Nigeria at the end of his leave.
Upon his return, the President is expected to join what is projected to be an increasingly intense political campaign ahead of the January 2027 election.
