Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Saturday inaugurated the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council, urging members to unite and mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, Peak Newspaper reports.
Aiyedatiwa, who chairs the council, urged members to promote the achievements of his administration and Tinubu’s government ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor cited road construction, healthcare equipment, school projects and regular salary payments as achievements of his administration, describing Tinubu’s reforms as campaign talking points.
Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami challenged party members to pursue a one-million-vote target through door-to-door mobilisation across Ondo State.
Campaign Director-General Victor Olabimtan urged members to support Tinubu and other APC candidates, while party leaders expressed confidence in victory.
