JUST IN: Adegoroye commiserates with Former Ondo Commissioner Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju over mother’s death

The Executive Chairman of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo state, Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye has commiserated with former Ondo State Commissioner for Water Resources, Mrs. Yetunde Adeyanju over the demise of his mother, Chief Mrs Akinbinu, which occurred, on Tuesday.

Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports that Chief (Mrs) Akinbinu died in the early hours on Tuesday in her hometown, Araromi-Obu at the age of 90.

Adegoroye, in a statement made available to Peak Newspaper Nigeria, on Wednesday in Ore, described her death as “a great loss.”


“I just learnt of the passing of Chief Mrs Akinbinu the mother of Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju Though, a painful exit, mama lived a life of selfless service that is worthy of emulation. I pray that God grants her eternal rest,”

He added that he has fond memories of Mama as an “industrious, accommodating matriarch who opened her doors to friends and acolytes of her children and made all who came in contact with her feel loved.”

Honourable Adegoroye expressed his deepest condolences to the people of Odigbo Local Government and the Akinbinu family of Araromi-Obu.

“I wish to condole with you on the passing of your mother, Chief (Mrs) Akinbinu  May her soul rest in peace. May God grant you and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.”

“Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the departure to glory of your dear mother. May the Lord Almighty console you and the entire family left behind and stand in the gap for you all and grant Mama eternal rest in the bosom of Abraham.”

While expressing his condolences to Mrs Yetunde and the family, Hon Adegoroye prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest  and protect those she left behind. Adegoroye in the statement said.
