A 25-year-old woman, identified as Maimuna Idris, has been accused of allegedly cutting off her boyfriend’s penis in an incident reported to have occurred at a hotel in Kano State, Peak Newspaper reports.
According to reports, the woman had traveled from Maigatari in Jigawa State to meet the man. The two reportedly spent the night together at a hotel along Ahmadu Bello Way before the incident allegedly took place.
It is alleged that the woman gave the man a substance that caused him to fall asleep before using a knife to carry out the attack. Reports further claim that the incident was linked to allegations that the victim was planning to marry another woman despite being in a six-year relationship with the suspect.
The victim was rushed to a medical facility for treatment, while the suspect was reportedly taken into custody as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
