The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, has established a Physical Complaint Centre at its headquarters in Oshodi to enable residents report traffic-related concerns, make enquiries and lodge complaints against its personnel, Peak Newspaper reports

The agency says the initiative is part of ongoing reforms aimed at promoting transparency, accountability and improved public service delivery.

According to LASTMA, the new centre complements its recently launched 3367 toll-free call centre, providing an additional platform for residents who prefer face-to-face engagement.

The agency disclosed that the toll-free hotline recorded 2,843 public interactions between June 28 and July 29, 2026, including enquiries, commendations, reports of road accidents and vehicle breakdowns, as well as formal complaints.

LASTMA General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, assured residents that every complaint received would be thoroughly investigated in line with due process and the principles of natural justice.

He also reaffirmed the agency’s zero-tolerance policy on corruption, extortion and misconduct, warning that any officer found guilty of wrongdoing would face appropriate disciplinary action.

Bakare-Oki urged Lagos residents to make use of both the Physical Complaint Centre and the 3367 toll-free hotline to report traffic emergencies, seek information and provide feedback aimed at improving traffic management across the state.
