The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, (AAC) Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is “mortally afraid” of his growing popularity among ordinary Nigerians, Peak Newspaper reports.
Sowore insisted that his movement is driven by genuine grassroots support, stressing that unlike traditional political campaigns, his supporters are neither paid nor induced with cash or food items such as rice, bread, kulikuli, or akara.
He maintained that the strength of his movement lies in the people’s desire for real change rather than material incentives.
