First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has called on Nigerians to set aside differences and embrace unity as a pathway to national growth and prosperity, Peak Newspaper reports.
Speaking at an awards ceremony, she emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and peaceful coexistence, noting that Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity. Quoting the popular saying that “a house divided against itself cannot stand,” the First Lady urged citizens to focus on shared values and common goals rather than ethnic, religious, or political divisions.
She added that national progress can only be achieved when Nigerians work together in mutual respect and understanding, reaffirming her commitment to initiatives that promote unity, social cohesion, and inclusive development across the country.
