Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dismissed claims by former Ekiti State governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose, regarding alleged discussions over a Vice-Presidential ticket, Peak Newspaper reports.
Describing Fayose as a “serial political gossip,” Atiku urged the public to disregard what he termed “beer parlour tales of infamy.”
The comments follow Fayose’s assertions that Atiku had engaged in talks with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde about the African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice-presidential position, which Atiku has categorically denied.
