JUST IN: Odigbo LG Chairman Hon Taiwo Urges Parents to Present Children for Vaccination During National Immunization Plus Days

The Executive Chairman of Odigbo Local Government, Hon. Hon Taiwo Adegoroye, has called on all parents and guardians in Odigbo Local Government to ensure their children are made available for vaccination during the upcoming National Immunization Plus Days in May.

The council boss emphasized the importance of protecting children against preventable diseases and encouraged full participation in the exercise to safeguard the health of the community.

Speaking at the flag up of the immunization in Ore, Hon Adegoroye received members of the immunization team.

He commended the Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (OSPHCDA) for its dedication to promoting public health. And also reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to supporting the mobilization and sensitization of parents, stressing that collective efforts would be made to ensure the success of the immunization team campaign.

Hon Taiwo Adegoroye added that health workers would be deployed across health facilities, schools, churches, marketplaces, motor parks, and would also carry out house-to-house visits to ensure wide coverage.

He assured the immunization team that through collaborative efforts between the local government, health workers, and community stakeholders, the exercise would record remarkable success.

He urged all residents to cooperate with health officials and take advantage of the opportunity to protect their children against life-threatening diseases.
