Senate President Godswill Akpabio has alleged that people attacking President Bola Tinubu and his supporters on social media are being paid, as he urged northern youths to intensify efforts to secure the President’s re-election in 2027, Peak Newspaper reports.
Akpabio made the allegation on Wednesday, when members of the Arewa Revival Project, a northern youth organisation with representatives from the 19 northern states, visited him at his office in Abuja.
The delegation, led by its coordinator, Mustafa Ibrahim, presented an award to the Senate President in recognition of his contributions to nation-building.
