Odigbo LG Chairman, Hon. Adegoroye Opens Public Toilet At Kajola Market
The Executive Chairman of the Odigbo Local Government, Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye has today opened a public toilet at the Kejola market, in the Kajola Community in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo state.
Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports that the newly opened public toilet at the Kajola market is a project that was fully funded by the Iyaloja of Kajola Community, Chief Mrs ufuoma lucky Akinyele née Orido, in honour of her late mother who was the former Iyaloja of the Kajola Community.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Kajola market, the Odigbo Local Government Boss, Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye described the Kajola public toilet as a “community development project”, maintaining that the public toilet will make the Kajola market neater and more conducive for business activities.
He praised the Iyaloja of Kajola market, Chief Mrs ufuoma lucky Akinyele née Orido for completing the philanthropic project, appreciating her for upholding the legacy of her Mother, the former Iyaloja of Kajola Community.
Honourable Adegoroye asserted “On behalf of Kajola market and Odigbo Local Government, I appreciate your pure act of kindness, your thoughtfulness and generosity— this public toilet is a game-changer for Kajola market, as it will foster smooth business activities, make the market neater and encourage further development.
“I also commend you (the Iyaloja of Kajola Community, Chief Mrs ufuoma lucky Akinyele, for upholding your mother’s Legacy kindness, generosity and goodwill— I am sure your mother is proud of you. Thank you for your selfless contribution toward the growth and development of the Kajola market.
Honourable Adegoroye urged Kajola market men and women to ensure that the newly opened public toilet is optimally managed and kept clean.
Also, the Adegoroye encouraged other sons and daughters of the Odigbo Local Government to emulate the exemplary generosity of Chief Mrs ufuoma lucky Akinyele to amplify the progressive and developmental projects of the government.
During her address, the Iyaloja of Kajola Community, Mrs Chief Lucky Akinyele appreciated God for the completion of the newly opened public toilet in Kajola market. She thanked the Chairman of Odigbo Local Government, Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye and other dignitaries for their presence at the opening ceremony of the new public toilet at Kajola market.
She stressed that the newly opened public toilet in Kajola market is only a tip of the iceberg, assuring more developmental projects in sustaining the legacy of her late mother who lived a fulfilled life helping others and her community.
Reminiscing the impactful role of the late Mama Orido in the Kajola Community.
In his remarks, the Oloja of Kajola, HRH. Ademulegun Segun, said “Late Mama Orido is a mother who lived an amazing life. She was selfless, jovial, accommodating and hospitable— I am happy that her children have continued her good works.
“The late Mama Orido played a pivotal role in my appointment as the Oloja of Kajola, I am forever grateful and indepted to her,” he said.
