The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has condemned the assault of a female corps member by Anambra Vigilante Group operatives in Oba, Idemili South LGA, describing it as “unacceptable and dehumanising.”
The scheme said it supports the police investigation to ensure justice and has begun providing psychological support for the victim, while reaffirming its commitment to corps members’ welfare and safety.
The incident, captured in a viral video, has sparked public outrage, with many demanding accountability from security operatives in the state.
