Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has praised President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, saying they have helped stabilise Nigeria’s economy despite current challenges.
In a message to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary, Mbah congratulated citizens on the milestone and urged unity, optimism, and resilience. He said the sacrifices Nigerians are making today would yield long-term benefits if the country remains committed to ongoing reforms.
“At 65, our independence is a reminder of what we can achieve as a people when we are united. Progress demands sacrifice, and tomorrow is shaped by the choices we make today,” he stated.
Mbah also highlighted his administration’s commitment to inclusive development in Enugu, citing revived state assets, improved security, modern transport infrastructure, healthcare projects across rural communities, and the rollout of 260 Smart Green Schools.
He assured that no resident of Enugu would be left behind as the state pursues exponential economic growth.
