Amotekun Corps in Ondo State has rescued five kidnap victims without paying the N150 million ransom demanded by abductors. Commander Adetunji Adeleye said the victims were freed between May 6 and 10 during forest operations along the Lagos–Ore Expressway and Ikare–Owo Road.
One victim sustained machete injuries and is receiving treatment. Adeleye reaffirmed the corps’ 24-hour patrols and commitment to combating kidnapping and other crimes.
