The President of Odigbo Local Government Staff Cooperative Multipurpose Society 1, Alhaji Jimoh Mohammed Akinpelumi will be formally celebrated for his new title as the Balogun Adini of the Araromi Obu Central Mosque in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Saturday, July 18, 2026, Peak Newspaper reports.
In a statement to PEAK NEWSPAPER, the celebratory event for Akinpelumi, also known as Jim – Cater, is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM WAT at the Araromi Obu Community Hall. The venue is located beside the Rukayat Filling Station.
Organizers of the event have extended an open invitation to all Muslims and Christians, Local Government works promoting the gathering as a day of honor, unity, and gratitude. Promotional text for the ceremony describes Akinpelumi as a leader with vision, a servant of Allah, and a blessing to the community.
Attendees participating in the celebration are instructed to adhere to a dress code designated strictly as decent and respectful.
