Ambassador Abhishek Singh, India’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Nigeria, officially presented his Letter of Credence to President Bola Tinubu, marking the formal commencement of his diplomatic mission in the country, Peak Newspaper reports.
According to a statement released by the Indian Embassy in Abuja, Singh was warmly welcomed by President Tinubu, who congratulated the envoy and wished him a successful tenure in Nigeria.
During the meeting, Ambassador Singh reiterated India’s dedication to enhancing its strategic partnership with Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of expanding collaboration across vital sectors such as trade, technology, energy, and sustainable development.
Singh expressed optimism about the future of Indo-Nigerian relations, stating his commitment to fostering mutual growth and advancing shared goals between the two nations.
