President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has promised Nigerians prosperity in a potential second term, blaming his political opponents for the hunger and poverty currently facing the country, Peak Newspaper reports.
Tinubu made the remarks today at the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign flag-off in Kaduna State.
“I hear my opponents talking about hunger and poverty. Who created it? They did!” the President declared.
Addressing Nigerian youths, Tinubu assured them that a second term under his leadership would bring prosperity, adding, “You will not regret it.”
The President’s remarks come amid ongoing public concerns over the rising cost of living and economic hardship across the country.
