The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November governorship election in Anambra, Amb. Sir Jude C. Ezenwafor has described as false online report that he has passed away at the medical facility, stating that he is in a “very stable” condition, Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports.
It could be recalled that Amb. Ezenwafor was hospitalized late Saturday following an attack by unidentified gunmen in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja.
Amb. Ezenwafor hopeful had described his experience as near death when he escaped assassination attempt after he was attacked late Friday night in Abuja.
In a statement on Sunday by his Media Office, Ezenwafor said he is currently at a private medical facility in Abuja where an operation will be carried out by doctors to extract pieces of bullet lodged in his body following the attack.
