Fresh intrigues have emerged over the Osun State chapter of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election Campaign Council led by Governor Ademola Adeleke, as a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state and strong loyalist of former Governor Gboyega Oyetola has warned that the council will not succeed without carrying the Oyetola camp along.|Peak Newspaper
In a video circulating on Facebook, the APC chieftain, speaking in Yoruba and said to be a supporter of Oyetola who is the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, declared that the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) structure announced by Adeleke cannot deliver Osun for President Tinubu if key APC leaders are sidelined.
The warning came as Governor Adeleke on Thursday, October 22, 2026, inaugurated a 344-member campaign council for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid at the Oasis Event Centre, Osogbo.
