Human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has said his biggest challenge ahead of the 2027 elections is the ignorance of many Nigerians, not political opponents or money, Peak Newspaper reports.

Speaking in a yet-to-be-released interview on The Manifesto podcast, Sowore said years of poor education have shaped the country’s political mindset, making many people unable to critically assess leadership.

He also argued that money is no longer the biggest factor in Nigerian politics, insisting that ignorance, poverty, and the influence of social media now play a bigger role in shaping voters’ decisions.
