An Imam has reportedly revealed that he returned ₦25 million belonging to the late Ogogo to his family after his death, explaining that he could not keep money that was entrusted to him, Peak Newspaper reports.
The cleric made the revelation while recounting his experience following Ogogo’s death. According to him, the money was in his possession before Ogogo passed away, but he decided to hand it back to the deceased’s family afterward.
The Imam’s disclosure has sparked reactions, with many people commending him for what they described as an act of honesty and integrity, particularly at a time when disputes over money and property can arise following the death of a loved one.
