Nigerian singer and record label owner, Portable, has turned down a N120 million offer to participate in a boxing match against social media activist, VeryDarkMan, insisting he will only enter the ring for Me and N1 billion.
This was made known in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), where Portable claimed that N100 million or N20 million is too little for someone of his status, stating that his fans regularly gift him such amounts.
In his words: “I don collect money wey pass N20 million, my fans dey give me. The N100 million my fans dey give me. N100 million small for me to fight VeryDarkMan, make them give me N1 billion.”
“If I see someone who’ll give me N1 billion, I’ll fìght him. I’ll bëat him totally. Before I use juju on him, I’ll fìght him.”
Portable also mõcked those who suggested the match, saying they fear VeryDarkMan themselves.
His comments follow a recent proposal by talent manager Soso Soberekon, who pledged N120 million for a boxing bout between the two offering N100 million to the winner and N20 million to the loser.
