The Federal Capital Territory Administration will from Monday, May 26, begin reclaiming 4,794 properties across Abuja due to unpaid ground rent spanning 10 to 43 years, Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports
The properties, located in key districts including Maitama, Asokoro, and Wuse, owe over N6.96 billion.
The FCTA says the revocation follows the Land Use Act and that access to the properties will be restricted as part of the takeover.
