Solomon Arenyeka, former Delta State PDP Chairman, has been elected as the Delta State Chairman of the APC following the party’s state congress.
The election came after Governor Sheriff Oborevwori led a mass defection from PDP to APC in 2025, Peak Newspaper reports.
Moses Iduh and Efe Uko were elected Deputy Chairman and State Secretary, respectively, while other executives include Paulinus Akpeki (Delta Central), Emmanuel Amgbaduba (Delta South), Daniel Ossai (Delta North), Ifeyinwa Sobotie (Woman Leader), and Christopher Agali (Youth Leader).
Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties Ifeanyi Osuoza described their emergence through consensus as a vote of confidence, urging them to consolidate party structures, deepen grassroots mobilization, and prepare for the 2027 elections.
