The Edo State House of Assembly has summoned Egor Constituency lawmaker Natasha Osawaru Idibia to appear before its Committee on Ethics and Privileges within seven days.
The summons follows viral videos showing alleged altercations between her and her husband, music star Innocent Idibia, better known as Tubaba. Speaker Blessing Agbebaku said lawmakers must uphold dignity and responsible conduct at all times.
During the plenary, the Speaker also updated members on FERMA’s scheduled appearance before the House. Two bills passed first reading, including amendments to the Edo State Lottery Law and a bill to establish the Edo State Emergency Management Agency.
