Investigative journalist David Hundeyin has sparked controversy online after agreeing with a supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who claimed that “Obidients create a scenario inside their heads and then start rejoicing over the imaginary scenario.”
Hundeyin said the APC member “was unfortunately not wrong,” adding that this was part of the reason he had been less active on social media lately.
“This is why I’ve been spending less time here of recent. You people are so depressing,” he wrote.
His comments have stirred mixed reactions, with some supporters accusing him of turning against the movement, while others say he’s only being realistic about its current state.
