Former Commissioner for Agriculture and Finance, stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, High Chief Samuel Olubunmi Fasonu who also doubles as the Odunwo of Araromi Obu kingdom Popularly known as Man Pass Man, is dead in United State of America (USA), Peak Newspaper reports.
The Former Commissioner was appointed as Chief press Secretary to Ondo State Governor Military Adminstrator Late Rear Admiral Mike Akhigbe, later Deputy Local Government Chairman Later Local Government Chairman and Commissioner for Agric and Finance.
High Chief Bunmi who was a Commissioner for Agriculture and Finance, Anthony Onyearugbulem under Military administration died in United State of America yesterday evening.
He was a community leader and political icon in Ondo State capital.
He reportedly passed away at his residence in United State of America after a brief illness, according to family sources.
High Chief Bunmi Fasonu death has thrown family members, political associates, and well-wishers into mourning.
The late High Chief Bunmi Fasonu a native of Araromi Obu in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, was widely known for her contributions to Men and women development and social welfare during her time in the Ondo State Executive Council under the Adebayo Adefarati’s administration.
During his tenure as Commissioner for Agriculture he was said to have played a notable role in championing issues relating to Men and women empowerment, child welfare, and family support programmes in Ondo State.
He death has been described by associates as a painful loss, not only to her family but also to the political and social community in Ondo State and Lagos State.
