Leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State have expressed appreciation to party members, traditional rulers, and supporters for their commitment during the recently concluded party primary elections, Peak Newspaper reports.
Speaking with Peak Newspaper in Akure the state capital on Thursday, Comrade Bola Taiwo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aide to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, commended party faithful across the 11 wards in Odigbo Local Government for their loyalty and peaceful participation during the House of Representatives, Ondo South Senatorial, Ondo State House of Assembly primaries held on Wednesday.
Comrade Bola also appreciated traditional rulers in the local government for their support and commitment to maintaining peace throughout the exercise.
He further urged all candidates and party members to embrace unity and peace following the primary elections, stressing that meaningful progress can only be achieved through togetherness and mutual understanding.
According to him, members should remain steadfast in supporting the APC and its candidates ahead of the forthcoming House of Representatives and House of Assembly elections in Ondo State.
