The Joint Action Committee of Bauchi State tertiary institutions has raised concerns over salary shortfalls in June payments, despite the government’s implementation of 90% of the new “COMPCASS and CONTEDISS” structures, Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports.
JAC Chairman Abubakar Ahmed urged authorities to address discrepancies ranging from ₦2,000 to ₦40,000.
The union also reiterated concerns over the state’s contributory pension scheme, calling for a review to protect workers’ interests.
