Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved a review of the monthly allowance for members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in the state from ₦20,000 to ₦30,000.
Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports that the governor made the announcement while addressing corps members on Friday, commending their dedication, resilience, and willingness to contribute meaningfully to national development.
He emphasized the vital role young Nigerians play in shaping the future of the country.
Governor Fintiri reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the NYSC scheme, pledging continued cooperation and investment in youth-centered initiatives.
He then urged corps members to remain steadfast in upholding the values of unity, discipline, and hard work throughout their service year.
