The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that it possesses the political strength and strategic capacity to remain in power in Nigeria for more than a century, a bold assertion made by a party chieftain, Hon. Muhammad Gadaka, Peak Newspaper reports.
Gadaka, who is the Chairman of the APC in Yobe State, made the statement during the 2026 Yobe Leadership and Innovation Summit held in Damaturu. He expressed confidence in the party’s long-term dominance, attributing it to what he described as commendable policies and programmes being implemented under the party’s leadership.
Speaking through the State Party Youth Leader, Muhammad Musa Gulani, Gadaka said the APC’s vision is to continue forming governments at the federal, state, and local levels for the next 100 years and beyond. He emphasized that the party requires more time and additional mandates to fully address Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges and deliver sustainable development.
He further noted that the APC remains focused on building a strong, united, and prosperous Nigeria, urging citizens to maintain confidence in the party’s leadership and policies. According to him, ongoing reforms and governance strategies will eventually yield economic benefits for all Nigerians.
The event also highlighted the contributions of Mai Mala Buni, particularly in youth inclusion in governance, with speakers praising his administration for appointing young people into key political and administrative positions across the state.
