Ondo State Governor Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has presented a N492.8 billion budget proposal to the State House of Assembly for the 2026 financial year.
The governor laid the appropriation bill before lawmakers earlier today for consideration and approval, Peak Newspaper reports
The Governor proposed a total expenditure of ₦492,795,667,939 for the 2026 fiscal year. Of this amount, ₦167.5 billion is allocated for recurrent expenditure, while ₦281.991 billion is earmarked for capital projects.
Governor Aiyedatiwa made this known while presenting the 2026 Appropriation Budget christened as the “Budget of Economic Consolidation” at the State House of Assembly.
Governor Aiyedatiwa urged the Assembly to give the bill careful and expeditious consideration, expressing appreciation for the legislature’s continuous cooperation and support.
