The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has declared that Nigeria’s next president ahead of the 2027 general elections has already been determined by God, Peak Newspaper reports
Adeboye made the statement during a workers’ meeting held at the Redemption City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, noting that the outcome of the election is ultimately beyond human control and subject to divine will.
According to him, while political activities and campaigns will continue to intensify as the election approaches, the final decision rests with God, who he said has the ultimate authority over the affairs of nations.
“The next president has already been decided by God who owns the universe. It is not something we can determine by human effort alone. The will of God will be done,” he stated.
The cleric urged Nigerians not to be anxious about political developments, advising citizens to remain calm, prayerful, and peaceful as the country moves closer to the 2027 polls.
Adeboye also emphasized that participation in politics remains important but should be approached with the understanding that divine authority supersedes human decisions in determining leadership outcomes.
