Resident doctors at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan have officially returned to work following the suspension of the month-long nationwide doctors’ strike, Peak Newspaper reports.
The decision comes after the Nigerian government reached an agreement with the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), leading to the restoration of full medical services at UCH and other federal hospitals.
Patients are expected to see improved access to consultations, emergencies, and routine care as operations gradually return to normal.
