In order to ensure adequate security and to guarantee safe environment for co- members deployed to Kebbi state for their one year mandatory service, the Kebbi state Police Commissioner,CP.Bello. M. Sani has restructured the security settings at Basaura NYSC orientation camp under Jega local government area of Kebbi state.
The state Police chief made the disclosure when he paid a visit to the orientation camp at Basaura to boost the morale of armed security forces stationed there to give unshaken security to corps members and camp officials ” you should snaygise with other security agencies, you must always in remain in cluster” he said .
Bello urged them to remain absolutely focused and delligent to ensure safe and peaceful environment even as he charged them to be ruthless to any group or person seen lurking around the camp at any time of the day ” we have massively deployed armed security personnel in and outside the camp who will man the camp 24hrs.
To boost security at the camp , the CP held a close door meeting with Kebbi state Commissioner for internal security,Alhaji Haliru Wasagu and special adviser to governor on security, colonel Hassan Ribah and Nigerian army commanding officer.
The orientation camp hitherto at Dakin Gari village now relocated to Basaura over security concerns within those axis to ensure the camp is secured .
