Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, returned to her Senate office in Abuja on Tuesday after her door was unsealed, ending a six-month suspension imposed in March 2025. The lawmaker had been barred over allegations of misconduct linked to her claims against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
In July, a Federal High Court declared the suspension unconstitutional and ordered her reinstatement, but Senate security had continued to prevent her entry until now.
Speaking to reporters after regaining access, Akpoti-Uduaghan vowed to serve her constituents with renewed commitment and “without apology,” crediting public support and legal redress for her reinstatement.
