Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her UK-based elder brother, Sweezzy, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking fresh speculation about growing tension within the Daniels family, Peak Newspaper reports.
A quick check of their social media accounts confirms the development, which comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Regina’s troubled marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
Adding to the intrigue, another sibling, Sammy West, has also unfollowed Sweezzy. This move surprised many fans, especially as Sweezzy had earlier shown strong public support for Sammy during his recent legal troubles, alongside their mother, veteran actress Rita Daniels.
The family rift appears to be unfolding against the backdrop of Regina’s highly publicized marital crisis. Reports indicate that her marriage to Senator Nwoko has deteriorated significantly, with allegations of domestic issues and a heated custody dispute involving their children.
Recall that Sammy West was arrested on November 6, 2025, in Lagos and later transferred to Abuja following a petition reportedly filed by Senator Nwoko.
