President Tinubu Swears in Ex-CDS Musa As Defence Minister

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in retired General Christopher Musa as Nigeria’s new Minister of Defence, Peak Newspaper reports. Musa, confirmed by the Senate on Wednesday, pledged to investigate recent security lapses, including troop withdrawals in Kebbi and attacks on senior officers. His appointment follows the resignation of former Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru.
