Financial analyst Kalu Aja has revealed that many Nigerian policemen are lobbying for Christmas postings to Anambra and other South-East states, Peak Newspaper reports.
According to him, officers see it as an opportunity season, hinting that the rush may not be entirely about maintaining peace but about “festive gains.”
His comment has sparked reactions — some say it’s proof that corruption has eaten deep into the system, while others argue it’s just about wanting to serve closer to home during the holidays.
