The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 64, has unveiled a new youth-focused church aimed at empowering young people spiritually and equipping them with practical life skills, Peak Newspaper reports.
The initiative, launched at the province’s model parish, is designed to address the spiritual, social, and economic needs of youths in today’s fast-changing society. Church leaders said the new church will serve as a platform for mentoring, character development, and leadership training for young Nigerians.
Beyond spiritual growth, the youth church will also focus on capacity building through skills acquisition, entrepreneurship training, and other empowerment programmes intended to help young people become productive and responsible members of society.
Speaking at the unveiling, leaders of the province noted that the initiative reflects RCCG’s commitment to raising a generation of purpose-driven youths who are spiritually grounded and socially relevant.
The launch attracted church members, youth leaders, and invited guests, who commended the church for prioritising youth development and practical empowerment at a time of growing social and economic challenges.
