Human rights lawyer Inihebe Effiong has revealed that a productive meeting was held on Friday in Lagos with former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, to discuss the case of Quadri Alabi.Effiong, who shared the update via his social media handle, stated that Obi made a firm commitment to support Quadri in accessing the training or education he desires and deserves.
“We had a very engaging and productive meeting with Mr. Peter Obi in Lagos today to discuss the case of Quadri Alabi,”
Effiong wrote. “He made a commitment to help Quadri to get the necessary training or education that he desires and deserves.”The meeting is seen as a significant step toward mobilizing support for Quadri, whose situation has drawn public sympathy and advocacy from civil society groups.
